Multi Pass Dryer & CoolerAeroglide has responded to the rapidly changing prepared food industry with new technology and processes custom-tailored for specialty products. We are pleased to offer eight thermal processes, nine primary airflow configurations and five major mechanical assemblies – all with nine types of product conveying systems.

Thermal Processing Equipment for Prepared Foods

  • Aeroglide prepared foods dryers, impingement ovens and coolers feature field reversible airflow, zoned temperature controls and humidity controls for the ultimate in uniform drying. Prepared food conveyor dryer applications include instant rice, parboiled rice, seasoned rice, French fries, pasta and specialty products. Aeroglide offers a variety of industrial baking oven configurations to suit your unique process:
    • Single-pass conveyor systems offer gentle handling of fragile products with enhanced process control.
    • Multi-stage conveyor systems make efficient use of floor space while offering high production capability. The combination of various thermal processing stages provides a large degree of operating flexibility for the processor.
    • Instant Rice, Croutons and Pizza CrustMulti-pass conveyor systems are well suited for products that can tolerate repositioning. The reduced footprint of a multi-pass dryer allows processors to maximize their floor space.
  • Impingement ovens are designed for rapid and uniform baking, roasting, toasting, drying and cooling. Common applications include breakfast foods, egg products, stuffed sandwiches, bagels, pizza crusts and other value-added foods.
  • AeroFlow™ fluid bed dryers, toasters and puffers use high velocity air to gently lift and separate product particles. Ideal applications for prepared foods include stuffing mixes, seasoned crumbs, croutons, instant rice and pasta.
  • AeroPulse™ pulsed air fluid bed systems increase product heat transfer and accelerate moisture removal.
  • Rotary dryers and coolers offer efficient drying and cooling of free-flowing products that can tolerate agitation, such as parboiled rice, seasonings, pumice and various food bi-products.
  • Truck/tray dryers feature stacked product trays for batch and semi-continuous processes. Common prepared food applications include specialty baked products and low volume gourmet products.
