Through-Air Dryer for NonwovensSince 1940, Aeroglide has developed a high quality line of ovens and dryers to meet the thermal processing needs of the modern day nonwovens industry.  Our equipment supports chemical bonding, spray bonding, thermal bonding, curing and heat setting. With a solid knowledge base of nonwoven processing, the highest standards of product uniformity, and an understanding of the customers’ requirements, the National Drying division of Aeroglide Corporation provides efficient solutions to meet all demands.

Thermal Processing Equipment for Nonwoven Products

  • Flat-bed through-air dryer for high loft and loose web applications that require gentle through-flow processing and support throughout the heating process. Through-air conveyor dryers accommodate products requiring extended dwell time, in-line temperature profiling for heat setting, thermal bonding and cooling.
  • Drum Dryer for NonwovensSuction drum dryers for high line speed thermal bonding, drying and heat setting.
    • “Omega” single drum dryer features high evaporation rates for short dwell time, delicate web, or single-sided contact applications.
    • Multi-drum dryers are available with up to eight standard drums. Diagonally offset drum design maximizes the drying contact area, resulting in increased production and efficiency in fewer modules.
  • Rapid high heat transfer - impingement dryers offer high drying and finishing efficiency for coated and nonpermeable (nanofiber based) webs.

Nonwoven Applications: Automotive, filtration, geotextiles, healthcare, home furnishings, insulation, synthetic leather, technical textiles, wipes.
