Food Engineering Corporation (FEC) designs and manufactures industrial food processing equipment with the goal to provide the highest quality,
highest value equipment possible. The philosophy worked, and FEC grew, expanding its product lines. Along with the expansion of products,
FEC also expanded the markets it serves beyond food to include chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and electronics. FEC joined Aeroglide Corporation in July, 2002.
- FEC was founded in 1965 by Mr. Ralph Burgess, Jr.
- The first equipment that was designed and built at FEC were dough proofers and ribbon conditioners for Pillsbury and other
bakery plants.
- FEC introduced a variety of shaker pre-dryers and dryers for the short-goods pasta industry.
- In 1973 the first cereal dryers were installed in both General Mills and General Foods plants.
