Dryers, Ovens and Coolers for the
Chemical Industry
Custom designed thermal processing equipment for fine chemicals, powder and bulk materials.
Combining the knowledge assets of C.G. Sargent’s Sons, National Drying Machinery, and the original Aeroglide organization gives us the ability to focus over 240 years of technical expertise in the chemical industry.
Sargent invented conveyor dryer technology for heavy industry in the latter part of the 19th century. National pioneered drying systems for use in fine chemicals, dyes and synthetics. Aeroglide systems for rotary, tower and fluid bed units solved challenges in applications as diverse as coal and pharmaceuticals. These drying systems helped enable the growth of the organic, inorganic and mineral industries from their infancy through the establishment of chemical companies as largest companies in the world.
With thousands of installations, our technology partners include all of the major global chemical industry leaders. We have partnered with major engineering firms for major new chemical plant construction.
Aeroglide machinery is installed throughout the world conducting unit operations as varied as drying, curing, calcining, tempering, heating quenching, polymerization, solvent reduction and other reactions.
Applications:
Fine chemicals, minerals, pharmaceuticals, food additives, catalyst, pigment, petrochemicals and synthetic fibers.
Multiple process control options provide independent variable control of operating temperature, airflow, flammable solvent management, humidity conditions and product handling to accommodate multiple products in a single machine.
Expansion compensation construction allows continuous, high temperature operation.
Sanitary design and self cleaning features extend operating uptime.
Thermally efficient design and construction, including options for dual fuel operation and waste heat reutilization.
