Application Engineer. The application engineer will be required to design custom engineered drying systems based on clients’ specific requirements. The development of these drying systems will require a background in sizing various heat and mass transfer equipment including burners, steam coils, and fans. In addition, the application engineer will need to optimize the design in terms of energy consumption and process performance. The job will also involve field work relating to process start-up, process optimization, customer training, and auditing of drying systems. Also the application engineer will be required to assist in the capital cost estimating of the equipment involved in the drying systems, and provide technical support to the sales staff during interaction with clients.
Required Background: The job will require a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and at least 3 years experience in the design of heat and mass transfer equipment or processes. Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills are required, as well as the ability to travel internationally.

Market Manager, North America - Raleigh, NC USA
The primary responsibility is to generate capital sales of process equipment from assigned food industries in a direct selling role. This necessitates developing knowledge of these industries including infrastructure, economics, key participants, process technology and applications for equipment. Primary geography is United States and Canada.
Secondary activities include providing feedback on product performance, application technology, market dynamics, competitive activity and making recommendations to the Regional Director on trade association participation, advertising, promotional opportunities, trade shows and general marketing information. Specifically these activities include:
Direct Sales
Determine scope of assigned industry and identify key accounts.
Select target accounts: Include end customers, contractors, and other buying influences and allies. Identify key personnel at corporate, engineering, and local operations levels.
Develop and implement account penetration (or consolidation) plans for each target account. Include specific measurable goals, call plan and develop internal support team for each account.
Solicit and prepare sales proposals and follow-up for the following industries: fruit, vegetable, potato products, prepared foods and food ingredients.
Generate sales and achieve annual forecast.
Support Activities
Develop industry and customer profile.
Assist in developing food industry sales projections.
Participate in trade associations, trade shows, and other activities, which promote the Company and products.
Act as customer coordinator for transitioning jobs to operations once the contract is completed.
Provide information to update customer and prospect databases.
Develop relationship with allies, universities, technical associations, publishers and editors in the food industry to maximize publicity and exposure. Prepare press releases and publish articles.
Requirements
